House Kheperu Open House

Postby Bholanath » Mon Apr 26, 2004 7:09 pm

Some of the members of House of the Dreaming are conspiring to accompany Father Sebastian Todd on his visit to the House Kheperu's Annual Spring Gathering.

Please let us know if you would be interested in joining us so that we might attempt to work out discounts, travel logistics, etc.

Here are the details:

Spring 2004
This year's Open House is scheduled for April 30, May 1, and May 2 and will be held at our favorite site, the Best Western of Medina. The old favorites are back, so we'll be featuring the energy workshop and the reincarnation workshop among the seminars. Other topics will include Taoism and a two part workshop on the Seer's Art. Other seminars and guest appearances will be announced as more information becomes confirmed.

One of the changes we've made this year is to schedule everything a bit earlier so each night will wrap-up officially at midnight, leaving everyone ample time to break into small groups, hang out and chat or actually get a little sleep.

This year we're also offering a specially priced couples' package for those of traveling with significant others. For more on this, click the Registration link.

We're looking forward to our biggest year ever, and we have a lot of fun activities and surprises in store for everyone who comes. If you have any further questions about the Spring Open House, please email us at gatherings@kheperu.org.

Thank you!

Pricing and Pre-Reg
The cost for this year's event is $30 per person if you pay before April 1st and $40 at the door. We also have a couples' rate of $50 for you and your significant other. The couples' rate is available ONLY as a pre-registration rate. We strongly suggest that you pre-pay to take advantage of the $10 savings, but you must pay by or before April 1st to qualify for the discounted rate.

Payments can be made by clicking the PayPal buttons to the left. You can also mail in payment. Direct your payment to:

House Kheperu
PO Box 1120
Brunswick, OH 44212

and make checks or money orders payable to Paul Trimble, Treasurer.

Please note that we prefer money orders. If a check comes back to us with insufficient funds you will be charged a $25 NSF fee, so please make certain you have the funds in your account before writing us a check.

KHEPERU OPEN HOUSE

Postby Guest » Thu May 06, 2004 12:04 am

Bholanath, Father Todd and I endured the long drive to Ohio and back for good reason.
I am very grateful we took the opportunity to represent the House of the Dreaming at this annual event and look forward to the next one.
Other groups represented at this event were House Sahgaza, House Quinataur, the Court of the Black Raven from Cleveland, and another group from Cleveland interested in forming a Noir Haven.

The lectures were very informative, especially Michelle's Past Life Regression, which brought me to a sense of balance and completion.

Saturday afternoon, we journeyed to Whipps Ledges, a sacred place of nature, rocks, caves and streams, discovered power spots and communed with nature for a while.
I had a very intimate conversation with my spirit guide and council.
Father Todd gave a lengthy interview for Christine Wicker, a writer from Harper Collins who is preparing a book on magickal people.
Todd later gave a lecture about the future of the vampire culture followed by a book signing and fang-smithing.

The Saturday night party was such a fun blast! "Elf" was an excellent D.J., too! Sunday we witnessed a beautiful Kheprian closing ritual and the
following Handfasting of Chad and Sarah, for which I was honored to play photographer!

House of the Dreaming was well represented at this event and well honored by House Kheperu.

I have made several friends and acquaintances and I look forward to visiting them again soon.

Attending such a nice event like this reminds us that House of the Dreaming should put in action our plans to host an "open house" of our own for our local community in the near future.

Thanks to House Kheperu and all Abbon, Friends, and Swans in attendance... we all helped to make this event truly enlightening and fun.

Many thanks to Bholanath and Father Todd for making this memorable trip possible!

Blessings,

Shaman Perry
