It was such a nice gathering!
Lovely establishment, great sound system, delectable eatibles and wonderful entertainment!
I wish more of you had been there...

Brett Rutherford's first set was all about hauntings, graveyards, witches, vampires and the supernatural. If you can look for his poetry on line its quite something.
The open mic too was filled with similar poems and songs by the local poets most of whom that i hadn't seen in over 2 years.
Wulfsunnus even graced us with some of his poetry, including my favorite: "Scilence".

For those of you that may recall, before HotD's public inception and after it as well, our Guild The Rift offered many poetry reading and art gatherings throughout the NY/NJ tri-state area. This reading series has stemmed from our old guild and is still conducted by one of our good friends that was part of our triumvirate. Its good to see that what we started back in 1996 at Archetypus cafe is still alive with many of the same faces, many new ones and much fire.
