The chat will be open topic, questions & answers and social.

The purpose of the chat is support and information as well as a chance to get to know others in our community. Arry'Shanna-Selene will host.

The hosted part of the chat will last for one hour from start time. People are welcome to stay and socialize and chat afterwards for as long as they like.

If you email me what you want to use for your personal avatar, (purely optional) I will get it uploaded for you for future chats. Send it to me as an attachment please to Imon@lesvampires.org. The size will be 80x80 pixels. If you do not have it presized, I will size it for you. Your avatar will have a permanent addy on the LesV server, regardless of what login name you choose each time for the chatroom. NOTE: please send me your avatars before the chat, as I cannot do them during chat. If you remember the one from the old LesV chatroom, and want to keep describe it to me in an email and I'll grab it for you!

How long will the duration of chat last? I'm four hours behind EST and the chat begins as I'm leaving work. Is it possible to have the chat last over a hour? If I remember correctly, the last time I attended, there was no formal closing of discussion.
I miss attending them and my Summer work schedule has me out-of-town alot. Also, are the chats scheduled for every other Tuesday of each month?

hi Berin, I realize chat starts really early for you. What we normally say is the *hosted* part of the chat lasts an hour and a half but people are welcome to stay as long as they like and chat. However, if no one has shown up within an hour then usually the host(s) will call it a night. And also due to personal time constraints, it is difficult for the hosts to be committed longer than an hour and a half. But sure as long as there are people there the chat can go on until the last person is out the door! During summer things do tend to slow down a bit as people have a lot of activities going on. The chatroom is also always open so anytime people want to chat, everyone is certainly welcome to use the room.

And yes chats are normally scheduled every other Tuesday and will be announced a day or so before.
