We have exciting new news to share and we want to discuss the new movement and plans for our Guild!

The Somnium Homunculi is initiating a new study season, and we are hosting a discussion for all interested in our Guild. As always, all Nightkind (Vampires, Otherkin, and Therian alike) are welcome to join us for a new stride that will allow the Guild to target your interests, bloom, and truly become a keystone in the understanding of the Embodied. Come prepared to share your thoughts, desires, expectations and ask questions!

At this conference, we will be opening the forums, and online application to the guild. If you haven't been able to register yet, our administrative staff will help you push those applications through so that you can enjoy the Guild ASAP, and start contributing your viewpoints and growing from our sharing experience! This is my response to the questions asked to us regarding the chat on 4/12:
My personal experiences as being a vampire have constantly kept me on my toes. When I statrted my first awakening at the age of 15, I was lost to myself and slowly I felt lost to the world. It was as if no one could understand me. The only thing that kept me going was the resources I found on the internet. It seemed to give me hope in finding others who would understand me, who could help me grow and get through the issues I was facing in society.

The resources I found on the internet started first of all with www.sanguinarius.org, which seemed to give me the basics on what was happening. I did not come into actual contact with anyone of a house until I was about 17 or 18. Having personal interaction with others was helpful in the knowing that I was not alone. Although I had found others like myself, these beings were not the people I needed to help me in my journey of growth.

Now that I have come into the loving arms of some amazing people that constantly push me to strive for more in knowledge, life and myself, I have been able to concentrate more on my growth. I wish to continue my growth by expanding my knowledge in all things otherkin. I believe the more knowledge one holds, the more capable they are to be of help to themselves firstly and then others.

Hello

My journey has been long, but I think I have finally rested upon a layer of truth. My awakening has been further complicated through issues of a gender change since my spirit prefers female form and struggling in a male body was thus far from ideal. As my male body grew it became more and more distant from the demands made upon me from my spirit and as a result I retreated into myself and lived my life from inside. I now recognise that being I fantasised as an embodiment of my inner soul.

From there I learned I was accompanyed by a vampyre spirit who resided with me, leading me to conversations with a colleague at work who helped me identify as phoenix. My external spirit friend guided me towards a vampiric understanding which I later realised also held truths for myself. Many years on I have a working theory that I began as a Star being and subsequently was blessed with other energies, only the information on this has all come in the wrong order and has been a hell of a job sorting it all out. For me, being a star sets me very much in the world of order, although with the ability of a different kind of perception many may find alien.

I haven't listened to the podcast because the podbean is being a jellybean and the link is not working and I keep being told "page not found"! However, my current understanding of keeping nightside and dayside separate doesn't really apply since I have been taught (by a phoenix kin) to work more with the moment and take synchronicities to a deeper level. As such, 2 people know at work about my being a psi vampyre (as I complained about draining the umpteenth Telzon scanner) and a previous colleague with whom I confided became my second mentor. I look forward to the next study chat on discussing differences between nightside and dayside: I do not consider to be nightkind for much of my essence is based in light and I have learned to balance the two.
