Lots of exciting progress! The original post's link to the Dark Nations document On Eldership was broken, but it can be found here: . This collection of descriptions of Eldership offers important insight into what various parts of the community look for in their Elders, providing a glimpse into the common expectations the VC as a whole has for its best and brightest and, by extension, what many of us believe we as a community should be striving toward. Personally, I find it as fascinating as it is important and highly recommend it ^_^
