Biography
Khan is a man of pointed views, who has worked diligently to gain the respect of his peers. Co-founder of The Dark Nations, he can be found in various places, from the book, "Vampires in Their Own Words," an active member of the Voices of the Vampire Community, part-time moderator for Les Vampires, co-host of Vampternoon Tea, and several other groups and activities intended to create an overall evolution for our kind.
Never satisfied with knowing "enough," Khan is in perpetual search for additional meaning to thoughts and concepts currently held as status quo. He is an American Taoist who is always working on deriving the meanings in the duality of our universe for application to every day life. To quote the 18th century philosopher Voltaire, his credo is, "Every man is guilty of the good they have not yet done."
Born in Chicago Heights, IL in 1969, he currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA, raising his lovely daughter and always enjoying the smaller nuances of life. He has traveled thru most of the continental US and spent time in Japan, Guam, England, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Mexico and Haiti. A former active duty member of the United States Marine Corps with multiple combat expeditions and 3 International martial arts championships are but a few things under his belt.
His favorite readings are: The Tao Te Ching, The Art of War, When the Legends Die, The 47 Ronin, the works of Edgar Allen Poe and Voltaire, as well as most books regarding world history and sociology.
Should a day come where you cross paths with him, not only shall you notice an acerbic wit and a sharp tongue, but also a firm example that each and every one of us has an obligation to look out for our own, sometimes at a very personal cost.
