I plan on being away from the computer for about a week as I am under the gun, working on an editting project that I must finish this weekend, and as my travel plans are imminent. I expect to be away from the forum begining this weekend, only to return on the 7th of February.

I am not taking any scheduled calls begining this Saturday, but all call schedules will return to normal on Tuesday the 7th.
I'm sorry if I have been difficult to catch this week, and I'll see you all when I return.

I have just returned from my trip. I had such a splendid time reconnecting with old friends and showing off my engagement ring!
Sir Algernon, Mistress NyxFury, Lady Aislin, and HeavnBound were wonderful gracious hosts - wining and dining me. Thank you all for being such warm family to me.

Although my stay in Baltimore was short, I truly enjoyed reconnecting with old friends, making new acquaintances and being chauffeured around town from the harbor to Fells Point…can’t wait to see the pics. Algernon you can upload pics to the HotD Gallery section.

While in Atlanta I was looking forward to meeting a few friends but because the meeting place opened much latter, we were all scattered about and missed each other completely… well, I will keep you posted when I’m next in town. NyxFury and I ended up guessing trivia at the Vortex and then sipping red wine at the Highland Tap till the lights came on.

I am still smiling from my Savannah visit. Thank you, Lady Aislin, for coordinating all the details. It started out with a dinner where I met Ileana and Kenneth for the first time <waves> and caught up with old friends; I do hope to see more of Tiger, Tami and Peter. The following night Club One was positively delightful. The music was perfectly danceable and we were joined by lovely Adriana, Jay and my good friend Jason (not to mention all the local denizens) who welcomed my return and emphatically encouraged a honeymoon in Savannah.

Tampa was of course idyllic. Heavn and her boy Jeff delighted me in attention and warmth. We traveled about town and made a candid appearance at the Castle (the local goth club) where I bumped into my old friend TheOneBob, who I haven’t seen in ages…it was good to tell him ‘happy birthday’ in person. Father Evan was kind enough to make me some new fangs to substitute the ones I lost earlier in the year in the NYC snow - Thank you, my friend; I am delighted with my new snappy fangs, just in time for the Vampyre Ball.

The return home was bitter sweet. I did not want to leave my friends but at the same time I so wanted to return to my true love’s embrace. My Savannah – Fort Lee trip was a pleasant 14hours mainly with cruise control set for 75mph. I did make one extended stop along the way, so I really can’t complain… no major rain and no traffic delays. I want to thank everybody that kept me company on the phone, particularly Archere and Bholanath who kept me from being bored.

When I arrived home I was greeted by numerous vases of flowers and decorative streamers that laced the living room hall and kitchen reminding me that I was loved, missed and that it was officially my birthday. I have the most wonderful boy in the world…

Thank you everyone for making this trip a total pleasure…now its your turn to visit me.

Sorry I missed you and the others, but things didn't go as I had hoped. I'm no longer an OTR truck driver but hopefully I'll find a job driving locally in the Bluffton-Hiltonhead area. That's right I've moved. I'm staying at my brother's right now, so maybe next time your down this way we can meet.

But I am delighted that you are in the Savannah area!
I have friends Kenneth and his wife who are in the Bluffton area...plus you will be very close to Aislin, Jason, Ileana and Tiger....
Maybe Aislin with have a coffe gathering some day soon that you can join in and meet the local crew... in touch with her privately...

I'll keep youposted on my next travel south....
