New Jersey Chapter of Bloodlines International

As some of you know, the NJ chapter of Bloodlines International was for many years hosted on Yahoo Groups. Because of Social Networks, yahoo groups lost interest in a few years ago we had no choice but to close down the NJ BL Chapter.

NJ BL is a social group created for the purpose of building the New Jersey area Nightkind Community, sharing experiences, information, common ground and to develop friendly relations online and in person. NJ Vampyres, Werekin/Therians, Otherkin, Witches, Donors, and those who support them are welcome.

I am the official Chapter Head and Herr Wulfsunus is the board Administrator, so you are in good company. We unveiled the group yesterday and already boast 20 members.
I can't wait to plan our first in-person NJ BL Meet and Greet.

I would like to post an update with reference to our NJ Bloodlines Group.
Re established January 1 of this year, the NJ Bloodlines Group is moderated by myself, Herr Wulfsunus and Asif Murad. To date we have hosted 3 official gatherings in NJ and are planning a 4th.
Our events were:
Meet-n-Greet Dinner and Drinks at Hells Kitchen in Newark, NJ Friday, January 25th
The Wicked Faire Meet up at Double Tree and Somerset Hotels in Somerset, NJ Friday February 15th
Movie Night at Madame X's in Fort Lee, NJ Friday March 1st

Our next event is a visit to the Wildlife Center in Ridgefield Park, NJ Sunday March 24th

I want to add a short update regarding the NJ BL group.
We currently boast 71 members! I am delighted to have so many friendly faces.
We are planing outings for June at the NJ Ren Faire this comming Sunday and later in the month at the Art Expo at QXT's. Wulfsunus and I will also be hosting a movie night at our place this Friday "Cloud Atlas". We have just had a social outing in Piscataway for the Steampunk world Fair and plan on hosting frequent NJ gatherings so that we can socialize in person as well as on line. Our group outings are always open to out-of-state guests and depending on the activity, may also be open to family or under-age guests.

Aside from social outings, we also welcome questions regarding Nightkind issues, articles, book suggestions and dialogue that may be food for thought and discussion.

A short update for you regarding the NJ BL group.
We currently boast 84 members! Our membership is restricted to individuals that live or work in NJ. I am delighted to have so many friendly faces aboard.
In August we attended the BatStock event; a 3 day event to help save the bats. Over 10 NJ BL members were in attendance
In September we had 2 informal out-of state gatherings to the Ren Faire in Tuxedo NY and to the Medieval Fest at the Cloisters in NYC. We had over 10 members in attendance and joined many of our NY friends.
Our group outings are always open to out-of-state guests and depending on the activity, may also be open to family or under-age guests.

Aside from social outings, we also welcome questions regarding Nightkind issues, articles, book suggestions and dialogue that may be food for thought and discussion.
