The Collective
House of the Dreaming in conjunction with Vampyre Lounge and with the participation of the Vampyre Society at-large is hosting an exciting video program called the Collective. It features a series of interviews with various Modern Day Vampires, Community Leaders, and other individuals. Each interview will be designed to independently focus on specific topics of community interest. House of the Dreaming and Vampyre Lounge are non-partisan in our approach and hope to provide as many perspectives as possible from all angles of community interest. House of the Dreaming spent this quarter in the ardent celebration of the Solar Returns of quite a few of its members! The Rousing Chimera
The Dreaming Festival, celebrated on November 17th, it is a day the House of the Dreaming membership celebrates and honors the Ancients that guided the house together under one Honor, one Family, and one Dream. On this day the Family remembers Sophocles, born November 17th, 495 BC, a master scholar; and August Ferdinand Mobius, born November 17th 1790, whose Mobius Strip the House has adopted into the Household rings that mark Initiation and Ascensions.

I pace the night
endlessly searching for something
that I can not find
overturning stones
throwing the clouds away
I wander throughout the land
and over the seas
a thin scarlet mist
waiting for the one thing
that will give my heart rest
my mind an over time bloom
budding with things to say
my lips will never speak
through one century
and another I return
flying from one life to another
a soul less journey
under a velvet cloak of night
to retrieve
something stolen away
beneath the roses
black petals glistening
over the cypress
and through the moss
I roam through the marble
cities consecrated to nothing
but emptiness
and alone I search still
for the one thing that
I've lost only to find
it will never return
